Sponsors, we thank you!

As we close our fair and launch our marvelous students to participate at Intel ISEF affiliates much nearer their homes, we take this last opportunity to thank the host of sponsors who have made possible this decade of science fair development. Ying TRSEF has successfully partnered with sister regionals or helped to found new fairs to guarantee Intel ISEF eligibility to every county we served!

The 2012 Ying of Balquhain Baronial Award of a quarter of a million dollars has funded our fair development across Upstate New York. We can do more if we have more. Would you like to ask for or make a gift? Contact the Fair Director and explore the options!

How You Can Help

There are many ways to support the work of the regional science fairs serving Upstate New York State counties. Whether a corporation, organization, foundation or individual, you can make a difference as we work to open the doors of science, technology, engineering and mathematics to these curious and motivated young people! Here are examples of ways you can pitch in. The “we” you see below could be every science fair in your area!

Category Sponsors
ISEF-affiliated fairs have 22 separate categories in which students can conduct their research. We are looking for private, corporate, academic or association $2000 minimum sponsorship of each category to become ongoing support for operations! Please contact the Fair Director today to explore this ultimate bargain in advancing your scientific or engineering field!

Talent Sponsors

Help us conduct the media campaign in your area to recruit students, judges and mentors, or give brief talks at the local PTAs/PTOs or professional associations about the Ying TRSEF. (The Fair Director can provide you with a complete package including a PowerPoint presentation and great anecdotes.)

Young Scientist Sponsors

Our middle school Junior Level accepts sponsorships of $500 and the high school Senior Level accepts $1000 sponsorships to support the year-round work of encouraging science fair participation in 24 counties by students, parents, teachers and other concerned adults.

Judges Sponsors

Our judges and fair officials need identifying sashes on their name tags so our security people permit them to enter the Exhibit Hall. The Fair also must provide lunches for the judges, who graciously arrive in the morning and work through the afternoon! And to that, add support for recruiting all these people!

Media Sponsors

Before the Fair we publicize the opportunity to schools, communities, professional organizations. On Fair Day, we need to shoot stills and video footage, and share with the media the news that hundreds of young people are making good choices.

Awards Sponsors

Every student receives a letter of participation. Ideally, a sponsor will provide medallions and pins for our Finalists to bring to ISEF for the traditional international exchange. You can also sponsor your own award, such as a job shadow experience at your facility, an internship, or a savings bond.

Please contact the Fair Director today to discuss your ideas about Ying TRSEF sponsorship!
