We are going to sell some great books, autographs and memorabilia, and ALL the receipts will go to help middle and high school students get to their regional science fair – paying for the school bus driver, covering registration fees, even their advancement to international competitions! The Ying Tri Region Science and Engineering Fair supports STEM engagement for under-served and underrepresented youth and communities. At this time, our focus is on regional fair development and Maker outreach, combining Dr. Ying’s visionary support and an operations partnership with Terra Science and Education. None of this would have happened without Dr. Ying’s opening the door to science fairs to the students we serve and Dr. Damkaci’s committing to support these regional fairs upon Mrs. Wood’s eventual retirement. We are truly grateful!
