Ying Scholar Competition

Finding the Makers and Shakers of the 21st Century!

The Ying Scholar Panel will award TWO $2000 SCHOLARSHIPS to Ying Scholars selected from senior high Semifinalists advanced from New York State’s Intel ISEF-affiliated regional science fairs. The school or sponsoring organization for each project will also receive a $500 award.

What is involved?

#1 One individual project selected as Semifinalist at each regional fair receives $500; his/her teacher receives $100

Your full package (in which you talk about the process and the people who shared this path, and the potential of your work to transform the world into a better place!) will include your completed application and abstract, a scan of the signed certification form, a 10-page version of your science fair report with references, the recommendation from your science teacher, and your checklist verifying that all is complete.

Dr. Ying believes you could transform the future IF aware of your own potential. So … he invites distinguished judges to review your applications and reports AND provides scholarships to let you know his belief in you is real!
